My partner and I have been together for almost three years now, and we can’t even get a joint bank account. I want to get married, not excited about the pura celebrations as much, but my interest is around the legal benefits and stuff. When I was young, i wanted the whole baraat, sangeet and celebrations with all my friends, family and cousins, just dance and dance!!!! Every time i attend a cousins or friend’s wedding, i imagine mine, like he would walk in on the horse, dhol beats everywhere and we all dance like till morning!
