from the community space, i have seen people getting beaten up also, not just for money sometimes. A friend’s friend went to meet someone on a dating app for gays and he went to meet in a public place only but three men came and beat him up in front of everyone.. like in a metro station and left. i dont know what is worse.. his getting beaten up cos of obvious homophobia or these people taking advantage of the society’s homophobia
